Ten bad drawings will teach you more than the perfect one you’re too scared to start.

CREATIVITY
Learning happens through contact with the work, which means attempts rather than intentions. Ten rough drawings put you through ten sets of decisions, ten mistakes and ten corrections, while the masterpiece you are planning teaches nothing, because it does not exist yet. The fear of making something bad is really a fear of evidence, and evidence is the only way forward. Quantity is how beginners buy quality.
Set a number instead of a standard this week, say ten small drawings in five days. Give each one fifteen minutes and no fixing. Lay them out at the end and notice that the later ones are better.
How many bad attempts would you accept before the good one?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
