You don’t owe anyone your art on a schedule. But you owe yourself the habit of making it.

CREATIVITY
Nobody is entitled to your output. A posting streak, an audience expecting something weekly, a sense of debt to people who liked the last thing: none of that is an actual obligation, and treating it as one turns making into a job you did not apply for. What is worth keeping is the practice itself, because that is the part that belongs to you.
Separate the two this week. Decide how often you want to make something and write it down, then decide separately whether any of it gets shown. If the second question has been driving the first, you have found the thing to change.
Whose schedule have you been making things for lately?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
