A great animated walk shows personality before the character ever speaks. How you do things says who you are.

LEADERSHIP
Character is legible in movement long before anything is stated. A bounce, a drag of one foot, a stiff upper body: an audience reads all of it instantly and forms an opinion before the first line of dialogue. How someone enters a room, hands over change, or carries a bag tells you more than what they say about themselves.
Watch three people walk tomorrow and try to name what each walk is telling you. Then look at your own habits in that light, not to correct them but to notice them. If you make characters, give each one a walk before you give them a single word.
Does the way you walk say something about you?
