Value is often discovered by asking what problem disappears after paying.

REFLECTION
A good way to price something is to ask what stops being a problem after you pay. Sometimes the answer is specific and worth it, an hour returned, a worry removed, a task you genuinely cannot do. Sometimes there is no answer, and the purchase was about the moment of buying rather than anything afterward.
Use the question before your next non-trivial purchase. If you cannot name what disappears, that is usually the whole finding.
Which recent purchase actually made a problem go away?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
