Creative block is often just tiredness wearing a costume. Sometimes the fix is sleep, not genius.

CREATIVITY
Not being able to work sometimes has a plain physical explanation. Tiredness shows up as flatness, as nothing arriving, as a sense that your ideas have gone, and it is easy to read that as a crisis about your ability rather than a body asking for rest. Thinking is expensive, and it degrades quietly. Dramatising the state tends to make it last longer.
Before treating a blank stretch as a block, check the dull things first, sleep, food, how long you have been staring at a screen. Try a proper night and come back once. If it is still there, then look at the work itself.
When you felt blocked last, were you actually just tired?
