Making something with your little sibling will remind you what creating felt like before you cared about likes.

A small kid making something has no audience in mind. They pick the color they want, narrate as they go, and stop when they are done, with no thought about whether it is any good. Most people eventually start making things for the response instead, and the work gets tighter. Sitting next to someone who has not learned that yet is the quickest way to feel the difference.
Spend half an hour making something with a younger kid, with no plan to photograph it. Follow their lead rather than improving their idea. Notice which part of it you miss.
What did you love making before anyone could see it?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
