Hard days don’t need a speech. They need the next task done and an early night.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
After a bad day the urge is to analyse, to narrate, to decide what all of it means about your life. That usually makes things heavier, because reflection on no sleep is unreliable and reaches conclusions harsher than the facts. What actually helps is small and physical: one thing finished, then rest. Meaning can wait until you are not exhausted.
On the next rough day, pick one small task you can complete, do it, and stop. Eat something and go to bed earlier than feels justified. Leave the big thinking for a morning when you have slept, because it will look different then.
Would one finished task and an early night rescue your day?
