Sometimes being a good teammate means doing a job you’re overqualified for without making a speech about it.

RESILIENCE
Being useful sometimes means doing the unimportant job without commentary. Every team has tasks nobody enjoys and somebody has to take, and the person who quietly picks one up is worth more than the person who does it while making sure everybody knows it was beneath them. The speech cancels out the favour. Taking it plainly is the part people remember.
Do one job this week that sits below your level and say nothing about it. Sweep up, stack the chairs, cover the dull station. Let somebody notice without being nudged into it.
Which task felt beneath you that you did anyway?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
