Respect people’s time like it’s money, because for a lot of them it is.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
For plenty of people, time is money in the most direct sense. An hour spent waiting on you is an hour they are not paid for, or an hour taken out of the only free stretch in their day, and that cost is invisible to you and entirely real to them. Being vague or late spends something that is not yours. Treating it as a resource changes how you behave.
Be specific this week: name a time, arrive at it, keep messages short. If you will be late, say so before the time rather than after. Brief and clear is a form of respect.
Whose time have you spent lately as if it were free?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
