A bad rehearsal the night before isn’t a bad omen. It’s information. Use it.

RESILIENCE
A rough run the day before feels like a verdict and is actually a report. It tells you which transition is shaky and which entrance you keep missing, at the last moment when that is still useful to know. Treating it as an omen throws away the one thing it gave you. Nothing about tomorrow was decided by how tonight sounded.
After a bad run, write down the two specific places it fell apart before you let yourself feel anything about it. Fix one of them tonight and leave the other. Go to bed at a normal hour, because being tired will cost you more than the shaky bar will.
What did your last rough run-through actually tell you to fix?
