Tune the violin before every practice. Strings drift a little every day, and so do you.

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

Small drift is the normal state of most things. Strings relax, routines loosen, standards soften a little, and none of it happens dramatically enough to notice from the inside. That is why the fix is a regular check rather than a crisis response. Tuning assumes drift instead of being surprised by it.

Build one regular reset into your week: a Sunday look at the schedule, a check of what you said you would do, five minutes putting your room back. Do it on a fixed day whether or not it feels needed. Expect small corrections rather than big ones.

A QUESTION TO SIT WITH
