Nobody mucks a stall once. Some work isn’t about finishing, it’s about coming back tomorrow.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
Certain work has no finish line and was never meant to have one. The stall will be dirty again tomorrow, the kitchen will need wiping again tonight, and measuring that work by completion makes it feel pointless when it is really maintenance. The achievement is the returning, not the finishing. A life contains a great deal of this kind of work.
Pick one recurring job you resent and stop expecting it to be over. Decide when you do it and do it then, without the inner argument about why it is back. See whether the resentment came from the task or from the expectation.
