Worship isn’t the song before the sermon. It’s what you do with your Monday.

GRATITUDE
What you do with ordinary time says more than what you do in a set-apart hour. A practice that lives only inside a building on Sunday and never reaches Monday is a performance of something rather than the thing itself. The test is whether anything about your week looks different. Ordinary days are where a belief either operates or does not.
Pick one part of your Monday and do it as though it counted: the shift, the homework, the way you treat somebody difficult. Change the quality of the work rather than adding a new activity. See whether the hour on Sunday feels different afterwards.
Does your Monday agree with what you sang on Sunday?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
