The disciples were bailing water while Jesus slept on a cushion in the back. Same boat, very different trust level.

Two people can be in exactly the same danger and have completely different experiences of it, and the difference is what they believe about how it ends. Panic is not a measure of how bad a situation is, it is a measure of how alone you feel inside it. Trust changes what it costs you while it lasts.

When something has you frightened this week, separate the facts from the forecast: what is actually happening, and what you are predicting. Ask who is in the boat with you and say the fear out loud to one of them. Then do the next practical thing, bailing included.
