The woman who touched His cloak thought she could stay anonymous. Jesus stopped the whole crowd to see her.

GRATITUDE

WHAT THIS MEANS

She arranged it so that she could get what she needed without ever being seen, which is what most people would do. Being noticed meant explaining herself in front of a crowd. What happened instead was the whole thing stopping so that she could be addressed as a person rather than processed as a case. Anonymity feels like protection and is often just a way of staying unmet.

If you have been handling something at the edges, let one person see you doing it this week. You can choose who. Being known is slower than being helped quietly, and it lasts longer.

A QUESTION TO SIT WITH

Where would you rather be seen than stay safely anonymous?
