Josiah became king at eight years old and became one of the best kings Judah had. Young doesn’t mean unready.

GRATITUDE

WHAT THIS MEANS

Readiness is not something age confers. A child becoming one of the better rulers in a long and mostly disappointing line suggests that the qualifying factors are different from the ones people assume. Being young limits your experience and your reach, and not much else. The waiting-until-you-are-older instinct is often just a comfortable way of not starting.

Stop deferring the thing you keep describing as a later project. Start the small version this week, at the scale actually available to you, and let your age be a fact rather than a disqualification you repeat to yourself.
