If your faith only works when life is easy, it’s a decoration, not a foundation.

Anything that only functions in good weather was never structural. A faith that works while your results are fine, your family is intact and nobody has died is not being tested, so you have no idea yet what it is. That is not an accusation, it is just a fact about untested things. The question is what you want it to be when the weather changes, because that is decided beforehand rather than during.

Ask yourself this week what you would still hold if the good thing fell through. Then put a little weight on it now and see what it does.
