Your weird ideas might be on purpose. The same God who designed the platypus designed your brain.

Oddness is not a defect to be sanded off. The world is full of creatures that look like committee errors and work perfectly well, which suggests that unusual is a design choice rather than a mistake somebody failed to catch. Your strange interests, your sideways way of thinking, the thing people tease you about, may be the most useful equipment you have. Most of what gets called weird at sixteen gets called original at thirty.

Stop filing down the odd part this week. Use it once, publicly, on something that matters to you, and see who turns out to need exactly that.
