Church isn’t a showroom for finished people. It’s a workshop, and everybody’s still on the bench.

The mistake is thinking everybody else has finished. A room full of people who look settled is actually a room full of projects in progress, most of them hiding the unfinished part, which is why newcomers assume they are uniquely behind. It is a workshop and everything in it is mid-repair. Expecting a showroom will make you feel like the only flawed item in the building.
Assume everybody around you is halfway through something this week. Ask one person what they are finding hard at the moment, and answer honestly when somebody asks you.
Where do you pretend to be finished instead of still learning?
