Pretending you have zero doubts is a costume. Church is a terrible place to wear one.

A performance of total certainty costs more than it buys, since you maintain it in front of the people who could have helped. Doubts do not go away under a costume, they just get held alone. A room full of people doing that produces a silence where everyone assumes they are the only one struggling. The costume is also usually obvious from outside.
Say the honest sentence to one person this week, in the plainest form you can manage. I am not sure about this part. You will probably find they were waiting for someone else to go first.
Where do you dress up your certainty for an audience?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
