Hagar was a runaway servant alone in the desert when God met her there and saw her. Nobody’s too far out for that.
GRATITUDE
GRATITUDE
A woman with no standing, no protection, and nowhere to go is sitting in a desert because running was better than staying. Nobody is looking for her. What the story makes a point of is that she was seen there, at the lowest address, by someone who did not require her to come back first. Being far out is not the same as being unreachable.
When you are somewhere you would be embarrassed to describe, you do not have to improve your position first. Tell one person where you actually are. Start from the desert, since that is where you are standing.
When did you feel most unseen, and who noticed you then?
