God can handle your hardest questions. He’s been asked worse by people in the Psalms.

Some questions feel off limits, too angry or too blunt to say out loud. The book people quote for comfort is full of exactly those questions, asked without softening: how long, why this, where were you. Nothing in it suggests the asking was the problem. A question you are afraid to voice tends to get louder, not quieter.
Write down the question you have been carrying and do not know how to ask. Say it as rudely as it actually sounds in your head. Then take it to one person who will not flinch at it.
