Your physical condition changes how difficult the same world feels.

The same circumstances weigh differently depending on the state of the body carrying them. A demanding job, small children, a long commute, all feel heavier when you are unfit, unrested, or unwell, and lighter when you are not, without anything external having changed. Difficulty is partly a physical measurement.
If life feels harder than it should, try improving the physical baseline before restructuring the circumstances. It is the smaller intervention and it often changes how the larger question looks.
