A skill that stops with you is only half used. He was given the hands for the work and also the ability to put the work into other people’s hands, and the second gift is the one that outlasts him. Teaching is not a lesser activity you do once you can no longer perform. It is how anything you know survives you.

Teach somebody the thing you are good at this week, in person, even if you are bad at explaining it. Ten minutes and one skill is enough. Let them do it wrong while you watch.
