Serving where nobody can see you is the fastest way to find out who you’re really serving.

Hidden work removes the audience, and what is left is your real reason for doing it. If a job comes with no chance of being seen and you are still glad to do it, you have your answer. If you find yourself hoping somebody mentions it, that is useful information too, and not a scandal. Most of us are a mix and the mix shifts.

Take one task this week where credit is impossible. Watch your own reaction honestly, especially the part that wants to drop a hint about it afterward.
