Rain on a tin roof is the kind of sound people buy apps to fall asleep to. Some of you get it for free.
GRATITUDE
GRATITUDE
Living with something constantly makes you blind to what other people pay for. Rain on metal is the sound somebody in a city is piping through headphones from a recording, and it is free, unlimited and currently annoying you slightly. Whatever is constantly available where you live has stopped registering as a feature. That is normal perception rather than ingratitude, and it is correctable with about a minute of attention.
List three things that are free where you live and cost money elsewhere. Use one of them on purpose tonight, with nothing else running.
What free sound do you already have that others pay for?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
