Coming home from a trip, your own bed and your own kitchen look brand new. Try to keep that view longer.

GRATITUDE
Familiarity is what wears things out, not use. A week away resets your eyes, so the same room, the same mattress and the same mug come back with their good qualities visible again, and then within three days they are furniture. Nothing changed except how long since you last looked. The newness was never in the objects.
On the first evening back, walk through the house and name five things you are glad to see. Write them somewhere you will find in a month. When the glow fades, which it will, go and read the list rather than planning another trip.
How long does that fresh view of home usually last for you?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
