Some nights are better kept in your head than in your camera roll. Leave one unrecorded.

Recording a night changes what you are doing during it. Part of your attention goes to the framing, and part of the evening quietly becomes material. The version kept in your head is poorer in detail and far richer in feeling, and it belongs to you rather than to an audience. Both kinds of memory are fine; most people have simply stopped choosing between them.
Pick one evening this week and decide in advance not to document it. No photos, nothing posted. Tell your friends if that helps, and notice how differently the hours run when there is no record to make.
Could you leave one evening entirely off your camera roll?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
