Somebody is noticing the empty milk, booking the appointments, keeping the laundry moving, carrying the quiet worry about money, and most of it never gets mentioned because mentioning it would sound like a complaint. Take one recurring job and make it permanently yours, without negotiating it or announcing it. The bins, the dishwasher, the hoovering, the little one’s school run. Do it unprompted for a month and watch how much it changes the feel of the house.
