Give a new hobby five tries before you decide you hate it. The first one is mostly figuring out where to stand.
CREATIVITY
CREATIVITY
A first attempt measures logistics, not fit. Most of it goes on where to park, what to wear, which end you stand at, whether you are allowed to touch anything, and who to ask. None of that tells you anything about the activity itself, and yet it is the data people quit on.
So decide the number before you start and make it five. Put all five in your calendar on day one so quitting takes a decision rather than a drift. Judge it after the fifth, and be honest then.
What did you give up on after a single try?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
