Coming back from an injury means respecting the slow weeks. Rushing back is how you end up on the bench twice.

CREATIVITY

WHAT THIS MEANS

Healing is the work, even though it does not look like work from the outside. The slow weeks are when the thing actually knits, and the fact that you feel fine at eighty percent is exactly the trap, because feeling fine arrives well before being fine. Going back early does not save you the time. It spends it twice, at a worse rate.

So get the return date from somebody who knows and treat it as the real fixture. Do the dull rehab in full. Use the weeks on the parts you can train safely, because coming back late and whole beats coming back twice.
