Write down what scares you this year. Read it next year and notice which fears you quietly outgrew.

CREATIVITY
Fear keeps terrible records. It presents itself as permanent, then dissolves without telling you, so you never get the credit. Writing it down is the only way to catch the before and after, because memory quietly edits the old list to match whoever you are now.
Make the list this week. Five lines, blunt and unflattering: the tryout, the phone call, the one class. Date it and put it somewhere you will find it again, a book you own or a pinned note. Open it next year and see what has gone quiet.
Which fear from last year no longer bothers you at all?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
