Crowd too much into the pan and the food steams instead of browning. Too many commitments at once do the same to you.
STILLNESS
STILLNESS
Browning needs space and heat, and a crowded pan gives neither, so everything comes out pale and soft instead of properly cooked. A crowded week does the same to the things inside it. Nothing fails outright, which is what makes it hard to spot, and nothing gets the attention it needed to become good either.
Count what you are actually committed to this week, including the small standing things. If everything is coming out mediocre, take one item off the heat instead of trying harder at all of them. Fewer things, properly done, is not laziness.
Which commitment would you drop to let the others actually work?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
