Privacy is not secrecy; not everything valuable needs an audience.
STILLNESS
STILLNESS
Keeping something to yourself is not the same as concealing it. Secrecy is about hiding what would matter to somebody else; privacy is simply the decision that a part of your life is not for general circulation. The two are constantly conflated, usually by people who want access. Something can be entirely aboveboard and still be nobody’s business.
When you feel guilty for not sharing something, check which of the two it actually is. If nobody is being deceived or harmed, you are within your rights. Not every good thing has to be visible to count.
What good thing in your life have you told nobody about?
