Nodding along to a plan you know is wrong because it’s easier is still signing off on it.

LEADERSHIP
Silence in a room where a decision is being made reads as agreement. Going along feels like no action at all, which is the trick: not objecting is a contribution to the outcome. When it fails you will be one of the people who let it happen, and your private doubts will not help anyone.
Say the sentence while the plan is still a plan, and keep it small: ask what happens if the thing you are worried about goes wrong. You do not have to block anything or be right. Putting the concern on the record once is often enough to change its shape.
