LEADERSHIP
The honest route usually takes longer, and that explains most of why so much gets done the other way. Almost nobody sets out to be dishonest; they set out to be finished, and the shortcut is the version of the job that fits the time left. The real decision got made earlier, when you chose how much time to leave yourself.
Work out which job this week you will be tempted to rush, and start it a day sooner than feels necessary. If the time has already gone, shrink the work rather than cutting into it. Three honest pages beat five with a hole in the middle.
Where are you choosing speed over doing it properly?
