Including somebody often gets framed as charity, which has it backwards and turns the person into a project. More players, more voices, more ways the thing can go: that is a plain improvement for everybody in it, not a favour handed down. The quiet one is not a cause. They are a player who had not been asked yet.
Ask without ceremony this week. Not a speech about belonging, just the normal invitation you would give anyone, in the same tone you would use for a friend. If they say no, leave the door open and ask again another day.
Who stands at the edge of your game unasked?
