Even huge ships usually take tugboats to dock. Strong leaders still need help in tight spaces.

LEADERSHIP

WHAT THIS MEANS

Being powerful in open water and being able to handle a narrow situation are two different abilities. A ship has all the force it needs and still cannot turn precisely inside a harbour, so smaller and more agile help gets attached. Needing that help is not a flaw in the ship. Strength and fine control come from different places, and almost nobody carries both.

Name the tight space you are in right now: a tryout, a conversation with a parent, a class you have fallen behind in. Find one person better placed than you for that particular corner and ask them something specific. Specific asks get answered.
