Wrong answers out loud beat right answers you were too scared to say.

An answer you keep inside cannot be corrected, so if it was wrong you carry the error forward untouched. Said out loud, a wrong answer gets fixed in about ten seconds, and you find out exactly where your understanding broke. Silence protects you from a small embarrassment and costs you the correction, which was the valuable part of being in the room at all.
Volunteer one uncertain answer this week in class, at practice or at work. Say it plainly instead of hedging it into mush. If it is wrong, ask what the right one was before the moment passes.
What answer did you keep to yourself and later find correct?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
