Getting a question wrong on a quiz is cheap. Getting it wrong on the job is expensive. Make your mistakes early.

The price of a mistake changes enormously depending on where you make it. School is the cheapest place you will ever be wrong, because the whole arrangement exists so errors cost marks rather than money or somebody’s safety. Treating a small test as something to survive wastes the one setting built for getting things wrong.
Go looking for the questions you are least sure about instead of the ones that confirm you are fine. Practice tests, old papers, the problems at the back of the chapter. Collect your errors now, while they are free.
Where can you afford to be wrong before it costs money?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
