Don’t trust a lesson you learned from a single bad day. Wait for the pattern.

One bad day comes with a very loud conclusion attached, and the conclusion is almost always too big. A single rough shift becomes proof that you are not cut out for work; one miserable practice becomes evidence about your whole future in the sport. A pattern earns that kind of belief, and a Tuesday does not.
When a day leaves you with a sweeping verdict about yourself, write it down and give it a month. See whether it repeats or whether it was tiredness and bad luck. Decisions made in the hour after something went wrong are worth revisiting once you are rested.
What conclusion did you draw from one terrible day?
