Meaning isn’t hidden somewhere for you to find. You build it out of what you keep showing up for.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Meaning gets treated like a buried object, as though somewhere there is a correct life waiting to be located. That picture keeps you searching and makes whatever you are doing now feel provisional. What actually happens is duller: a thing becomes meaningful by being returned to. The practice, the people, the work you return to gather weight because you returned.
Rather than asking what your purpose is, look at what you have not quit. Then give it one more hour this week than it got last week. Meaning follows repetition more reliably than it follows insight.
What have you shown up for long enough to matter?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
