Every calm surgeon was once a nervous intern with shaky hands. Everyone you look up to started scared.

Competence looks innate from the outside because you only ever meet it finished. The steady voice and the unbothered hands are the visible end of a stretch you did not see, which included being frightened and terrible in public. Nobody skipped that stretch. The difference is mostly how many reps have gone by.
Ask someone two or three years ahead of you what their first week was like. The answers are reliably worse than you imagine. Then let yourself be bad at the thing you are starting, on purpose, where somebody can see.
Who looks unshakeable to you and probably started terrified?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
