A ten-minute walk won’t fix your problems. It’ll put them back to their actual size.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Sitting still with a problem lets it expand. Indoors and motionless, one worry fills the available space, and the mind keeps adding to it because nothing else is arriving. Moving changes the input: other things exist, the street is doing its own thing, your body is busy. The problem does not shrink so much as stop being the only item.
When the loop starts, go outside before you try to think your way out. Ten minutes, no destination, phone in your pocket. You will come back with the same problem at roughly the size it actually is.
Which problem swells up whenever you stay indoors with it?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
