A rainy day off doesn’t need a plan. Sometimes meaning looks like soup and nowhere to be.

REFLECTION
Not every good day has a structure. There is a kind of contentment that only appears when nothing is scheduled and nothing is being achieved, and it is routinely skipped because it does not look like anything from outside. No story gets told about an afternoon spent indoors doing very little. It was still one of the better afternoons.
Keep one slow day this month genuinely empty rather than filling it when it gets close. Make something hot to eat, stay in, let the hours be shapeless. If you feel guilty about it, that is worth noticing on its own.
What would you do with a rainy day and no plans?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
