A single cell does its job without knowing the whole body exists. You don’t have to see the whole plan to matter in it.

Contribution does not require comprehension. Something can be essential to a system it has no picture of, doing one small reliable job while the larger structure depends on exactly that. People tend to withhold effort until they can see how it fits, which is a reasonable instinct and a bad strategy, because the view usually arrives after the work rather than before.

Do your part this week without waiting to be told where it lands. The practice nobody is watching, the section of the project that is yours, the shift you cover. If the fit becomes clear later, good.
