The best moments don’t last and neither do the worst. Hold both a little more loosely.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Everything moves, including the things you want to freeze and the things you are sure will never lift. The good night ends, which is not a design flaw, and the week that feels unsurvivable also ends, which is the same fact doing you a favour. A grip that tight is uncomfortable in both directions. Loosening it is accuracy about how time behaves, not detachment.
In a good moment, try noticing it is happening instead of trying to secure it. In a bad one, remind yourself what this will look like in a month. Neither takes the feeling away, and both make it easier to be in.
Which current high or low are you gripping too tightly?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
