Fame is just a lot of strangers knowing your name. That’s not the same as being loved.

Recognition and affection get bundled together even though they have almost nothing to do with each other. Being known by a great many people means your name travels. It does not mean anybody is on your side, remembers what you are worried about, or would drive across town to get you. That comes from a handful of people who know the details.

Count who could name what has been bothering you this month. If the number is low, that is where the week’s effort belongs.
