Your ancestors made up stories about the same stars you scroll past. Look up and join a very old conversation.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Those same points of light have been overhead for every generation before you, and nearly all of them had names and stories for the shapes. Looking up puts you in the same position they stood in, asking much the same questions. It is an extremely old exchange and nobody has closed it.
Go out and learn one thing you can name in the sky, then read what people used to say about it. A single constellation takes about ten minutes and you will recognise it for the rest of your life.
What story would you tell about the stars tonight?
