A bad first job still teaches you what you won’t tolerate later. That’s worth something.

REFLECTION
Badly run workplaces are unpleasant and they are also data. You find out what a chaotic rota does to a week, what a manager who shouts does to a team, how it feels when nobody tells you the rules and then blames you for breaking them. None of that is wasted if you keep the list, because it becomes your standard for every job afterwards.
Write down three things from your worst shift you will not accept later, and three you would copy from the best person there. Keep the note where you will find it again.
What did a job you disliked teach you to refuse?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
